About

Perfmetrix is a global group of highly skilled and experienced system architects and performance experts ready to assist you with a comprehensive range of services to create or improve software applications that meet or exceed your business needs. We have presence in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Perfmetrix is led by Peter Zadrozny, who has been in the computer industry since 1976 when he started working with the Unix operating system (research version 6). Since then he has been dedicated to software architecture and performance engineering. He has also been directly involved in systems integration, software development, product management, product marketing, and systems administration using or providing leading edge technologies in the US and internationally.

He was the Chief Technologist of BEA Systems for Europe, Middle East and Africa, a role he had since he started the operations of WebLogic in Europe (prior to the BEA acquisition). He has held various executive and technical roles in many countries around the world for companies such as Oracle, Macromedia, McKesson, Electronic Data Systems, Petroleos de Venezuela and Sun Microsystems, for whom he started their operations in Mexico. He has a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela.

Peter is the author of “J2EE Performance Testing” (Expert Press, 2002), coauthor of “Professional J2EE Programming with BEA WebLogic Server” (WroxPress, 2000) and “Begining EJB3 Application Development” (Apress 2006). He is the founding editor of the WebLogic Developer’s Journal, and a frequent speaker on technology issues around the world. Additionally, Peter was part of the team that created The Grinder, a Java load testing framework that makes it easy to run a distributed test using many load injector machines. It is freely available under a BSD-style open-source.
